About the Author My name is Carter Newpower, and I am a 21-year-old freshman at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I am from Cottage Grove, Minnesota and have lived there for the entirety of my life. I played multiple sports growing up, with those being hockey, baseball, and golf. I currently play hockey for Saint Mary's and hope to have success throughout my time here. Outside of hockey, I have a number of different hobbies. I like to listen to music during most of my free time, mainly country. My top two artists are Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson, as they are played constantly throughout the day. I like to spend time outside whenever the weather allows me to.
